There are a great many agencies in Los Angeles with many wonderful agents. The one thing to mention is that an agent is an EXTENSION of oneself. And when one hires an agent, he is supposed to look after your interests as if they were his own. Sometimes, with big agencies, that care is lost. One can become just another statistic or metric. As a boutique agency, serving our specific submarket, we can provide insight into our specific pockets that would be hard to obtain if not fully familiar with a submarket.

We have particular expertise in the East Los Angeles submarket, from Los Feliz to Eagle Rock and Silverlake to Pasadena. This is our home, and our slice of this sprawling megalopolis called Los Angeles. While we often venture out into the valley and the beach cities, we pride ourselves in our knowledge of the East Side Corridor.

I give them ample communication on what to expect at every step of the home buying process. I tell them (with as much detail as possible) what to expect day by day, what is important and what is unimportant, and what is happening during every part of the transaction.

I definitely have a style. Before taking on a client, either on a sell side, or the buy side, I try to fully understand and “own” their motive as if it was mine. This has been the approach that has made me successful in my career. The de facto job of an agent is to be an EXTENSION on the client and to look after their concerns as if they were your own. The first and main step that enables me to do that, is truly understanding what they are trying to accomplish, and then, helping them move towards that goal as if it was my own.

Clear, concise and to the point. This doesn’t mean I am not friendly, and always down for a chat, but when it comes to business, I like giving my clients the exact information they need, in a timely manner, and with abundant respect.

The honest truth is, the Real Estate market is currently sluggish, sellers are in no rush to sell, and buyers are in no rush to buy. Interest rates remain generally elevated, and new construction is lagging in completion, with new projects taking longer to be green lit. Until rates drop, sellers adjust to the reality of the market, and buyers are willing to come to the table, the market dynamics are unlikely to shift. That doesn’t mean there aren’t opportunities out there to explore.

Absolutely, I am the proud co-captain (along with my wife) of the Los Feliz Running Club. We are a gung-ho group of rebel runners that meet up every Sunday morning to go for a run in Griffith Park. The group has turned into the most beautiful community of likeminded individuals and has given me, along with every member of the group, a newfound sense of community and belonging in this crazy city we call home. Seeing the group grow, the community strengthen, and the bonds deepen, has been my pride and joy.
